Responsibilities

We are offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a department of nurses, ensuring everyone has what they need to deliver the best care possible to our patients.
  • Engage with the floor. Talk to the nurses, the patients, and families. Keep your finger on the pulse of your department so you can keep things running smoothly.
  • Manages the resources and daily activities of the nursing department while ensuring environmental factors support high standards of patient care.
  • Assists in the training and development of new and existing staff members.
  • Mentor people on your team. Share your knowledge and confidence with assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, and others. Build them into potential nurse managers like yourself.
  • Coordinates the activities of the unit during a particular shift and directs, organizes and assigns work to the nursing staff.

Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of nursing experience and a minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience.
  • California RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
