The posted compensation range of $31.31 - $45.40 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our Mammo Tech at CHI Williston Health, you will perform a variety of routine mammography related procedures by operating x-ray equipment on designated areas.

In our Critical Access Hospital, you will be exposed to the emergency department, acute care (Med/Surg), swing bed, surgery, outpatient treatment, and so much more!

Responsibilities
- Capable of obtaining quality mammograms and radiographs using proper exposure, markers, and shielding, and knows how to use portable x-ray machines and c-arms.
- Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedure
- Able to perform all Mammography exams including localizations/stereotactic biopsies, print images, and perform CAD on digital images.
- Able to use CR reader, erase CR cassettes, send images from CR reader, and perform image manipulation as necessary.
- Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images, and print from PACS.
- Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms
- Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the department
- Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Registered Technologist Mammography, RTM.
- BLS-CPR
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
- Strong oral communications skills
- Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
