The posted compensation range of $21.70 - $29.84 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
The Dialysis LPN Works with RN and provider to utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment and planning of care based on delegated tasks, patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient’s response. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

Responsibilities
- Assist RN and healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, special tests, and routine procedures
- Obtains patient health history, laboratory specimens, and vital signs
- Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
- Assess and reassess patients, plan of care, implements care and re-evaluates are based on patient response to treatments
- Educate patient and families about disease process, proposed treatments, medications, and discharge
- Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN)
Required Licensure and Certifications
- LPN:ND;
- BLS-CPR
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
- Strong oral communications skills
- Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
