The posted compensation range of $27.77 - $40.27 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
As our Dietitian, you will assess the nutritional status of our patients using recognized assessment tools. You will take great pride in recommending and counseling patients, family, and caregivers on the appropriate nutrition plan to improve the patient's health and well-being.
Every day, you will work with the general patient population and patients in more complex levels of care to perform nutritional assessments using age and gender-appropriate standards and cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. You will conduct routine screenings to identify patients at nutritional risk and collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment to contribute to facilitating care for those needing a higher level of care, all while demonstrating excellent customer service to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Develops an intervention plan which includes appropriate feeding route, mode, and nutrition prescription unique to patient's specific needs, in accordance with physicians' orders.
- Completes nutritional assessments and nutrition education for inpatients and swing-bed patients
- Monitors and evaluates patient response to interventions by meeting specific measurable goals documented in the nutrition care plan in a timely and thorough manner in the medical record.
- Updates plan of care as necessary and follows up with the patient as needed.
- Collaborates within an interdisciplinary environment to contribute to facilitating care and identifying patients at nutrition risk or needing higher level of care.
- Collaborates with the Food and Nutrition Services team to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college/university as well as one calendar year of internship or equivalent, Required.
Licensure and Certifications
- Dietitian: North Dakota (DIETITIAN:ND), Required Upon Hire.
- Registered Dietician (RD), Required Upon Hire.
