Overview

CHI St. Alexius Health Williston now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health has been proudly serving our community since 1920. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston proudly provides primary care specialty care family medicine 3D mammography orthopedics neurology and several other health services to our Williston community.

Responsible for assisting nursing staff with basic care, assisting with office procedures and for helping patients with activities of daily living under the supervision of a provider, clinic nurse manager, Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in gathering medical history information and taking vital signs.  
  2. Documents patient information for medical records including vital signs, height, and weight.  
  3. Assist Physicians and nursing staff members with procedures when necessary.  
  4. Transport patients safely using appropriate equipment.  Assist with stocking and cleaning clinic equipment and supplies. 
  5. Follow emergency procedures including CPR when necessary.  Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience 

High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent 


Successful completion of state-approved certified nursing assistant training program. 

Required Licensure and Certifications

CNA:ND

AHA Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS-CPR) – within 30 Days

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

Candidates must be proficient with computers and computer applications in the healthcare setting. 


Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
