Currently the Obstetrics/Post-Partum department at St. Anthony North Health Campus has 12 LDRP rooms and three triage rooms with between 60-100 births per month. We love to deliver babies! We are a Level I facility, meaning we deliver 36 weeks and above. We are located right off the highway and receive preterm/high risk patients. Our goal is to transfer the mom prior to delivery to prevent separation of the couplet. This isn’t possible in every case, so we stabilize and transport both mom and baby separately following delivery. We are a LDRP unit with ED, Peri-Op, OR, PACU and antepartum capabilities. We care for low-risk pregnancies and couplets. We also have a mix of high-risk births occasionally and sometimes receive GYN overflow from med-surg. We strive to be a thriving OB unit within this growing community. In October, St. Anthony North will have an 18 bed postpartum unit (new unit), a 15 bed L&D unit, and a 7 bed NICU.
