Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Physical Therapist, you will provide a continuum of services to patients suffering from neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders. You will play a vital role in restoring their optimal health and well-being.

Every day, you will utilize the rehabilitation process to provide mobility training, strengthening exercises, modalities, specialized manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education. You will be personally accountable for upholding our organizational mission and core values in all aspects of patient care.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical expertise in treating a diverse range of physical disorders. Your ability to apply various therapeutic techniques, promote patient recovery, and align with our core values will be crucial in helping patients achieve their optimal health.

  • Evaluates patients, presenting or referred to physical therapy, by completing initial evaluation within time standards per department protocol. Performs a variety of best practice and evidencebased therapeutic interventions to address the unique rehabilitation needs of each patient.
  • Establishes appropriate treatment plan with measurable and attainable goals and time frames by collaborating with patient, family, and other members of the healthcare team including discharge planning.
  • Selects and implements therapy activities per plan of care to ensure that patient, family, and therapy goals are met. Applies appropriate diagnostic and prognostic testing for musculoskeletal, neurological, and neuromuscular conditions.
  • Standardized testing will include special tests to determine level of disability and track outcomes over the patient care experience. Documents all patient care activities including evaluations, progress notes, and detailed treatment records per standards of practice and regulatory/thirdparty payer requirements.
  • Evaluates assigned patients and develops treatment plans including specific goals and activities, reassessing and modifying plans as necessary based on patient's current level of function and makes appropriate disposition recommendations.
  • Communicates effectively to all patients, families, staff, physicians, and other customers concerning physical medicine and rehabilitation services by direct verbal and/or written communication respecting confidentiality at all times.

We are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus in addition to up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Physical Therapist in state of employment or Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
  • Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association

Preferred

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit
  • Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Dry Needling Certification or Education ONLY REQUIRED If performing the Dry Needling function: Dry Needling Certification or Education
