Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Director, Imaging Services, you will lead and manage the entire Imaging team, encompassing Echocardiography, MRI, 64-slice CT, Mammography, and Cardiovascular/Cardiac Diagnostics while driving continuous improvement and market share growth.

Every day you will oversee all imaging areas, collaborating with Diagnostic Imaging (DI) coordinators and modality team leaders to manage professional and support staff. You will ensure the successful improvement of services through strategic planning, operational excellence, and a focus on growing market share, all while maintaining high standards of patient care.

To be successful in this role, you will possess extensive leadership experience in a comprehensive imaging department, a deep understanding of various imaging modalities and technologies, strong strategic planning and operational management skills, and a proven ability to drive service improvement and market growth.

  • Develops and maintains a close working relationship with physicians, and provides them with appropriate follow-up regarding any changes, problems, or incidents that involve them or their patients.
  • Establishes performance goals, allocates resources, and provides leadership support to achieve quality care, service, and financial goals in alignment with the hospital's vision and mission.
  • Prepares and submits capital budget requests that meet the objectives of the strategic and tactical business plans, additionally implementing cost-efficient strategies within each service unit, and utilizes a thorough understanding of financial concepts and guidelines in managing the entire Clinical Service as an enterprise.
  • Manages employees through a team approach, fostering a collaborative effort across modalities.
  • Maintains ongoing analysis of Clinical Service Performance and monitors trends and opportunities, initiating and recommending service improvements to meet changing market needs.
  • Assesses and tracks patients to ensure they receive the appropriate level of care at the appropriate point on the continuum, determining where integration efforts will be most effective, including identifying areas for improving processes and systems, and communicates collaboratively to all customer groups to ensure that processes and systems used in the imaging department are thoroughly understood.

Primary sites of responsibility include our Holy Cross Hospital locations in West Valley, West Jordan, and Lehi.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors Degree from an approved School of Radiologic Technologist.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a leadership position.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists license/certification.
