The posted compensation range of $28.94 - $41.99 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Contributes towards the delivery of quality health care with a concern for the well-being of those served. Provides high quality patient care by performing intake assessment, determining diagnosis, developing and maintaining a treatment plan, concurrent reviews and discharge planning for patients in the Behavioral Health Program. Therapy may include individual, family, couples or group counseling as appropriate, using clinically sound and evidence-based practices as current with state of employment Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and policies and standards of care.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
Two years of direct behavioral clinical experience providing individual, group or family therapy in an inpatient or outpatient setting Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning. Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills. EAP knowledge and experience, preferred
Preferred current license in the state of employment in one of the following disciplines:
- LCSW
- CHMC
- LMFT
- BLS
Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
This BHT role works at the CommonSpirit Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic (Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 6 pm). There is a opportunity after training to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote work.
