The posted compensation range of $17.00 - $23.82 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech), you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests at Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs. Your primary duties will involve:
- The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I performs procedures according to facility policy and procedures.
- The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I can perform test set up, electrode application, and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties.
- Communication skills are essential for this position.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS issued from the American Heart Association
- 6 months experience working in patient care environment, required.
- Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied
Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
