**Schedule:**
Monday – Friday (Rotating Shifts: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
AmeriMed Infusion Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Admissions Coordinator I** to join our team in West Chester, Ohio. In this role, you will coordinate infusion therapy, enteral therapy, and durable medical equipment services for our infusion patients and customers. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient admissions, optimizing the patient experience, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Facilitate the admission process by obtaining referral data and entering patient information into CPR+.
- Coordinate start of care with referral sources, patients, and service delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate service initiation.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product lines and customer service standards, acting as a resource for both internal teams and external customers.
- Keep current on local insurance providers to assist with discharge planning for infusion, enteral therapy, and medical equipment needs.
- Develop and nurture relationships with outside agencies and referral sources to promote seamless transitions to home care.
- Verify insurance coverage, including government payors and private insurers, and complete necessary authorizations, benefit checks, and documentation such as ABN, AOB, and Patient Agreements.
- Participate actively in team meetings and continuous quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ customer service experience in the medical field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in typing and computer skills, with the ability to navigate electronic health records and insurance verification systems.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
