The posted compensation range of $30.91 - $45.98 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will join an established team of RTs who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues. You'll be instrumental in providing a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and external ventilation support.
Every day you will apply your keen assessment skills and critical thinking to manage diverse patient needs, develop and execute effective care plans, and ensure calm, focused intervention in both routine and emergent situations.

What you'll do...
- Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
- Provides respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical/ surgical conditions
- Performing/assisting insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
- Performing timely and accurate documentation with the idea of real time charting.
- Promoting continuous quality improvement
- Educating and counseling patients, family members, and caregivers
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program
- Six (6) to twelve (12) months’ experience in Respiratory Care or other related field
- Respiratory Therapy Practitioner: North Dakota
- Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the state of North Dakota
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support to be obtained within 30 Days of start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support to be obtained within 30 Days of start date
