Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Respiratory Care Manager, you will lead our Respiratory Care technical staff, providing instruction and evaluation, while assisting the Director in department management. This role also includes direct patient care as needed.

Every day you will supervise, instruct, and evaluate Respiratory Care Practitioners. You'll assist the Director in overall department management and provide direct patient care. Daily contacts include subordinates, co-workers, patients, medical staff, and physicians.

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong leadership, instructional, and evaluative skills, with advanced clinical expertise in respiratory care. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for staff supervision and interdisciplinary contact are essential.

What you'll do...

  • Research and budgeting of new equiptment.
  • Scheduling and performance evaluation of staff. 
  • Creating and maintaining department policies. 
  • Maintenance and quality control of equiptment within the department. 
  • Develop and manager operating budget. 
  • Other duties as applicable. 

Job Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Associate of Applied Science
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner: ND (RESP-LIC:ND)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
