The posted compensation range of $19.96 - $31.01 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Facilities Services Lead, you will oversee the operations of the Facilities Department, ensuring the highest degree of repair and maintenance throughout the facility and contributing to a safe environment for patients, guests, and associates.
Every day you will assist the Manager/Director of Facilities Services with planning, organize and assign departmental responsibilities, and ensure all functions are executed to maintain a safe and functional environment.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong organizational and leadership skills, a deep understanding of facilities maintenance and repair, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for all occupants.
- Responsible for completing work orders as assigned in a timely and professional manner. Responsible for monitoring work completed to reduce callbacks.
- Record time used to make repairs and any parts used to complete the repair.
- Follow up with department to ensure that the repairs meet their expectations.
- Assume the leadership role in the absence of the Manager/Director while maintaining all lines of communication with both administration and associates.
- Plan and oversee programmed maintenance with the objective of reducing operating cost and meeting Joint Commission requirements.
- Be completely involved with department’s total responsibility, including knowing and assisting in managing department resources.
- Respond to emergency situations such as fires, floods, power failures, emergency code alerts, snow/ice removal, etc.
- Remain current in EC, Life Safety Codes, OSHA and any other applicable codes or regulations which affect Hospital operations.
Required
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Preferred
- One (1) to two (2) years of related experience
