Community Memorial Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to champion cleanliness and create a healthy, inviting atmosphere for our patients, staff, and guests.

Education:  Literacy - ability to understand and complete written and verbal instructions.

Experience:  One year supervisory experience preferred. Housekeeping experience helpful but not required. 

Skills: Housekeeping skills helpful, pleasant, cheerful personality 

Interpersonal Skills:  Must have positive and effective skills in dealing with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, providers and other hospital staff.  Accountable for own conduct and promotes and supports positive working relationships among staff, departments, families, visitors and patients.  Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate behavior consistent with the Benedictine mission statement.  Maintains confidentiality.  Able to respond and perform effectively if an unforeseen or immediate need arises within the department and in stressful situations. 

Physical Effort:  Must be able to move 50 lbs from the floor to waist height and 25 lbs from the floor to the overhead position.  Stands, walks 90-100% of the eight hour shift.  Must be able to work from various heights.  Must be able to move various types of carts with loads up to 50 lbs independently.
