Patient Companion
The posted compensation range of $12.00 - $13.41 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Maintains patient safety for patients at risk for self harm including but not limited to those
on suicide precautions, those at risk for falls, or to keep medical tubes and lines intact - Protects the patient's dignity at all times
- Contacts nursing staff immediately of any concern regarding the patient's condition
- Provides comfort measures
- Prepares patient for meals, feeds patient and offers fluids as appropriate and verifies with
nursing staff - Observes standard precautions and aseptic techniques
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or a GED equivalent
- BLS issued by The Americian Heart Association

Day Shift 7A-7P
As our Patient Companion you will care monitor patients at rick of harm to themselves or other.
Every day you may assist with basic patient care services related to activities of daily living.
The Woodlands Hospital a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women’s services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorders.
