Clinic LPN Lead
The posted compensation range of $23.00 - $32.49 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
The Team Lead will be responsible for managing and administering the patient/nursing services in the clinic and supervising the nursing staff. The Team Lead will report to the Practice Manager or Director.
1. Responsible for direction and supervision of nursing services in accordance with organizational, governmental and regulatory standards.
2. Facilitates the development and implementation of organizational goals, procedures, budget and work standards.
3. Oversees and supervises the nursing care delivered to the patient to promote restoration of patient's health and wellness.
4. Orients, hires and trains staff.
5. Plans, organizes, prioritizes and directs the work of others.
6. Communicates clearly with staff in writing or verbally.
7. Exemplifies a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision making that does not compromise the mission, vision or values of the St. Joseph Health System.
OTHER
Performs other duties as assigned to meet the organization`s needs.
1. Write up and submit performance evaluations with the assistance of Practice Operations Manager.
2. Handle employee issues of their departments on a first line basis, involving Practice Operations Manager when necessary.
3. Maintain working schedules of their staff to provide optimal staffing for providers, relaying schedule to Practice Operations Manager.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current license in good standing as a vocational nurse by the State of Texas
Experience
Required: Minimum 5 years of experience with 2 years of supervisory level experience preferred
Licensure/Certifications
Required: Current CPR certification, current LVN license
