The posted compensation range of $14.82 - $20.38 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Responsibilities
Under general supervision schedules appointments for patients medical procedures tests and studies ordered by the physician.
*Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
*Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.
*Schedule tests procedures and referral appointments.
*Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests
*Collect insurance information and patient personal data.
*May collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance.
*Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Licensure Required:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum Experience:
* 2 years related experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as a team.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Familiar with Microsoft Office software.
* Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
* Demonstrate positive professional customer service in all patient staff and visitor contacts.
* A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
