Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Position patients accurately and efficiently to obtain optimal images.
- Operate radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, and portable imaging devices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
