About the Role:
As a Rad Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing a variety of imaging procedures: Operating X-ray equipment, CT scanners, and other imaging modalities to capture clear and accurate images.
- Patient care and communication: Providing a welcoming and reassuring experience for patients, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintaining equipment and supplies: Ensuring the proper functioning of imaging equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to safety protocols: Following strict safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals: Working closely with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Documenting procedures and results: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all imaging procedures and findings.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Current Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
