Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Administrative Services Program Manager, you will help hospital departments and leadership optimize performance, manage initiatives, and achieve strategic objectives so they can deliver high-quality patient care and operate efficiently.

Every day you will drive strategic initiatives and provide leadership for special projects. You will be expected to lead teams through the full lifecycle of project management, from discovery through implementation and business value delivery, while also maintaining focus on broader strategic workforce plans, and providing comprehensive support for financial and operational planning.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong analytical methods, exceptional independent judgment, and proven experience in strategic/business initiatives execution.

  • Provides program leadership, thought partnership, analysis, and strategic decision-making support to initiative sponsors and teams to ensure sustainable and scalable user-centric solutions are developed and implemented to successfully realize business outcomes and drive change.
  • Oversees development/updating of hospital policies/procedures to ensure continued alignment with CommonSpirit standards and business strategies/culture.
  • In partnership with the administrative leader, designee, executive leaders and people strategy and solutions, works closely with directors and managers to guide the development of strategic and operating plans, metric plans and dashboards, business cases/plans, and support for other strategic planning endeavors.
  • Partners with unit business leaders to lead rapid response teams to assess, recommend, and develop solutions for business-critical issues; leads teams through the full lifecycle of project management, from discovery through implementation and business value delivery.
  • Understands key performance indices and other significant benchmarking metrics and produces reports and other presentation/communication tools to inform/educate stakeholders as appropriate; collaborates with other departments to address and resolve challenges/issues from a hospital perspective, share information and support performance improvement and change management efforts.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Strategic Planning or related discipline or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • 4-6 years of related professional experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities.

Preferred

  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience involving independent decision making, complex facilitate, project management, change management, mentoring, developing training is strongly preferred.
