Overview

St. Lukes Health–Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. Our services range from heart care and neuroscience to robotic surgery. Our recently opened Family Birthing Center offers incomparable care and amenities in a spa-like environment to provide a VIP—Very Important Pregnancy—experience. Since 2008 our experienced doctors nurses and support staff have provided expert care to support our community.


Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the CT department. will need to complete position responsibilities by
following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame, and must be flexible with his/her work
schedule. involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.

1. Supervisory and leadership skills needed to mentor other technologists.
2. Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of CT equipment.
3. Knowledge of CT examinations as well as procedures that require the use of contrast agents.
4. Ability to manage patients during complex CT procedures exams such biopsies, drainages, etc.
5. Able to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees
within the organization.
6.Knowledge and practice of the ALARA (As low as reasonably achievable) standards when performing exams.


Qualifications

Required:

* Associate's degree preferred
* Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ‐ ARRT (R)(CT
*Certified by the state of Texas ‐ MRT
*CPR/BLS certification
*Three (3) years of experience
