Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist, you will help our patients and their families receive high-quality diagnostic imaging services across all developmental stages so they can achieve accurate diagnoses and better health outcomes.
Every day you will perform a variety of fixed and portable radiographs, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the process. You will be expected to uphold the organization's mission and core values, actively participate in performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong technical skills in operating radiologic equipment, a comprehensive understanding of patient care needs from infancy to geriatrics, and excellent communication abilities to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
- Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
- Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
- Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
- Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
- Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
Required
- High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies, upon hire and
- Graduate of a Radiology Program, upon hire and
- Less than 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience, upon hire
- Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, within 90 Days and
Preferred
- Associates Other, upon hire and
- Expanded IV Therapy Course, upon hire and
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
