Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Patient Care Tech, you will help our medical-surgical nursing team provide essential supportive services so they can deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will serve as a vital link between clinical care and department operations, ensuring our patients receive the focused attention they deserve.

Every day you will perform direct patient care, including assisting with mobility, monitoring vital signs, and managing medical equipment, while simultaneously facilitating clerical tasks like supply ordering and accurate documentation. You will be expected to maintain precise communication across multiple phone and intercom lines, report changes in patient conditions promptly, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong organizational and problem-solving skills, proficiency in medical terminology, and the ability to manage a physically active workload. You should be a dedicated team player who is committed to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that our patients receive compassionate, efficient care every time.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Minimum 6 months experience, within last 3 years in a acute care hospital setting, or healthcare clinic, skilled nursing facility, or home health setting as a Care or Nurse Assistant, medical assistant or nursing, student with one semester in clinical setting, or complete hospital patient care training.
