The posted compensation range of $35.28 - $51.16 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
- Provides oversight and coordination to the service area cancer registry. Assures quality of abstraction of data and reports to the state and other regulatory bodies. Responsible for the technical advice interpretation of standards and preparation of surveys for ACoS Cancer Program. Develops operational strategic goals and objectives and communicates those effectively.
- Gathers and maintains documentation of compliance reports etc. Collaborates with others to assure that registry studies are compared to national benchmarks to meet CoC guidelines and assure appropriate quality of care is provided to patients. Prepares and presents the annual patient output reports.
- Maintains cancer-related expertise registry and mandatory continuing education. Assumes responsibility for accreditation standards through maintaining knowledge and coordinating cancer registry staff cancer committee chair Director administrative team physicians and staff towards completion of activities required to maintain accreditation.
- Responsible for staffing and performance management of Registry staff. Monitors productivity and quality to maintain compliance with all regulatory standards gives feedback to staff and maintains workload volume without backlogs.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- CTR certification.
- Associates degree and/or additional job related experience in lieu of the degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience as a tumor registrar.
- Minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
