The posted compensation range of $32.05 - $36.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Performs a variety of environment services duties to maintain the hospital in an orderly, sanitary and safe condition. Supervises the daily activities of the EVS staff. Position works Weekends, Holidays and varied shifts. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core
Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
- Completes assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with Department Policies and Procedures.
- Understands and adheres to all Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and maintains equipment and closets in a clean, sanitary and secure manner.
- Ensures all assigned areas including, but not limited to, lounges, rest rooms, exam rooms, offices, etc., have adequate disposable supplies.
- Demonstrates professional interpersonal relationships with supervisors, co-workers and other Medical Center personnel.
- Adheres to all Medical Center and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
Job Requirements
Required
- Minimum 6 months experience in Health care or Commercial Environmental Services
Preferred
- High School Graduate or GED
