The posted compensation range of $30.59 - $34.36 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Central Processing Tech is responsible for receiving and processing incoming supplies and equipment. Performs cleaning and sterilizing duties prepares packs of supplies linen and instruments in Central Processing. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organizations strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Two (2) years of central processing experience or recent completion of central sterile processing externship.
- CT CST. CS Certification required.
- High School education or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic math, oral and written communication skills Excellent telephone manners and hand/eye coordination
- Working knowledge of sterilization techniques and Infection Control procedures. Familiar with medical instruments/equipment care and assemble
