Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Neurosurgery Education Associate, you will be a vital contributor to the planning, coordination, and delivery of essential healthcare-related educational and training programs.
Every day, you will actively assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs. You will also provide direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives, ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants.
To be successful in this role, you will combine strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep understanding of healthcare education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for IT components related to the academic research building and ensure the smooth operation of 3D audiovisual equipment connecting the Operating Room Suite to the Education Building.
- Assist the cadaver lab director with neurosurgical lab work and anatomical research, and participate in neurosurgical clinical studies, including data collection and literature reviews.
- Edit and collect neurosurgery videos from the SVN operating room suite, correlating them with anatomical dissection videos for educational purposes and assisting with preparing neurosurgical educational courses.
- Assist the Operating Room Director/Perioperative Services Director with clinical IT training needs.
- Assist the Perioperative Services Director/ANI Director with educational needs for Operating Room staff and partnered surgical scrub school training.
Job Requirements
Required:
- Master Degree
- Experience with specialized research software and datasets.
