Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Ultrasonographer, you provide critical diagnostic information using advanced ultrasound, contributing to patient diagnosis and treatment, and participating in our clinical training and technology evaluation programs.

Daily, you perform ultrasound examinations, capture high-quality images, and present findings. Under management direction, you coordinate operations for quality care and service, collaborating with healthcare professionals to streamline processes, enhance diagnostic accuracy, and uphold imaging standards, improving patient outcomes and fostering innovation.

Success requires comprehensive ultrasound knowledge, exceptional technical proficiency, keen problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety, diagnostic accuracy, and a collaborative learning environment. These are crucial for delivering vital diagnostic information and supporting our innovation leadership.

Job Requirements

Required 

  • Graduation from an ultrasound program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP)
  • Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty area of Abdomen or OB/Gyn ultrasound
  • Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is required within the first (1st) year of employment

Preferred

  • A one (1) year clinical internship and a four (4) year college degree, concentration in ultrasound
