Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist), you will be instrumental in empowering individuals across the lifespan by evaluating and treating a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders. You will address challenges related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, auditory processing, and/or dysphagia, significantly enhancing patients' functional abilities and quality of life. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary Outpatient Adult Neuro Rehab team consisting of neurologists, neurophysiologists, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.
Every day you will work closely with patients with a variety of neurological, cognitive, and communication disorders, participate in our ALS and Parkinson's Wellness clinics, perform and interpret results of MBSS, and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to each patient's condition and goals. You will also participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional diagnostic acumen, therapeutic skill, compassionate communication, and critical thinking are crucial for delivering evidence-based care and achieving meaningful, individualized outcomes for each patient.
Required
- Master’s Degree Speech-Language Pathology
- License Washington State as Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence within one (1) year
- Requirement Certification CPR
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent clinical judgment
