The posted compensation range of $43.85 - $58.35 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Responsibilities
The Licensed Inpatient Social Worker provides social work interventions for Medical Center patient and family needs. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to: completes a psycho/social assessment for care planning and care transitions, ensuring the appropriate resources are in place to facilitate a safe and timely hospital discharge plan, developing plans for ongoing treatment through services and agencies; providing short-term adjustment counseling to assist with emotional, social, and economic stresses of illness and disability.

Qualifications
Required:
- Master's of Social Work from an accredited college or university and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) license
- 2 years of Social Work experience in an inpatient setting
- Strong interpersonal skills; a working knowledge of individual and family dynamics; strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, an understanding of systems and how to work within systems; an understanding of the impact and implications of disease and the course of disease; excellent communication skills; the ability to perform psycho/social assessments; and a working knowledge of community resources.
Prefer three years in a care coordination, case management or discharge planning role
