Patient Financial Services Coordinator Lead
The posted compensation range of $26.58 - $39.30 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Performs concession management; reviews, approves, denies adjustments, charity, bad debt, probate and other claims; and performs
quality reviews of staff work.
Resolves conflicts utilizing exceptional listening skills, evaluating resolution options and selecting optimal choice; implements resolution so the patient, payor or intemal customer accepts the solution as most appropriate closure.
Trains staff and coordinates operational activities. May float as needed to ensure that positions adequately staffed.
Resolves issues pertaining to patient complaints and internal correspondence.
Keeps abreast of payor (including selfpay) changes in rules and regulations.
Coordinates special projects.

Qualifications
This position requires a strong ability to identify, interpret, problem solve, make decisions and be a technical troubleshooter.
Requires a working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and I@D-9 codes; third-party payors and self pay regulations.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills, attention to detail, strong
organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, prionitize work how. work independently and teamwork and leadership skills also required.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
