The posted compensation range of $26.51 - $34.09 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Duties Include:
- Observe and redirect patients who require constant, or near constant supervision (including patients who are in non-violent restraints).
- Deliver labs and supplies to other departments as directed, or retrieve supplies from other departments as directed.
- Maintain a safe working environment by observing for proper PPE use by staff and visitors.
- Conduct hand hygiene and other audits.
- Assist with ADL care and assist with turning and transferring patients.
- Performs and records vital signs.
- Stock patient rooms supply cabinets, PCT carts.
- Order meals for patients under direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Assist with safekeeping of patient belongings upon admission and unit transfer.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GEDrequired.
- Completion of NA-C training course (clinical requirement may be completed at VM during first week in the NA-R role.
- Good oral and written communication skills required. Basic skills in using a PC required.
- Must be able to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
- Theability to occasionally lift or push up to 50 lbs. and pull up to 100 lbs. is also required.
