Responsibilities

We have a new full time Operating Room RN position available. This position is (4) 10 hour shifts per week + on call.   This position requires 3 on-call shifts per month and may include working some weekends.

With 27 surgical suites, we perform over 15,000 surgeries per year in a variety of service lines which allow our nurses a great variety of cases. We are proud to be designated a Center of Excellence for total joints, complex spine surgeries as well as solid organ transplants. We also perform surgery for cochlear implants, strokes, TAVR, hybrid vascular procedures, cardiac, ENT, OTO, GYN, neurosurgery, orthopedics and sports medicine. We are also one of few centers to offer isolated limb infusion (ILI) for the treatment of metastatic melanoma . Our plastic and reconstructive surgery team also performs transfeminine gender-affirming surgery.

Responsibilities: The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services Assists the patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization. Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, the Registered Nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care. Qualifications

Current WA State RN license.
One (1) or more years recent Operating Room (scrub and or circulate) RN experience is strongly preferred.  For RNs looking to train in the OR, we offer a Peri-op 101 training program twice a year.  Please watch for that job posting each December & May.
CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.  CNOR- preferred 
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications: ACLS preferred.
