Responsibilities
In keeping with the CommonSpirit Health core values the Surgical Technologist II is to function as a team member during the preoperative intra-operative and postoperative phases of the surgical procedure.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Completion of Surgical Technologist training.
- Completion of Certification as Surgical Technologist. Surgical Technologist certification required. CST or TS-C.
- CPR - BLS required.
- Demonstrates intermediate skills appropriate to the role of the Surgical Technologist II. Demonstrates proficiency in five (5) specialties including but not limited to:
Urology
GYN
ENT
Orthopedics/Podiatry
Robots
General
Plastics
Pain Management procedures
Vascular
Neurosurgery
Thoracic Surgery
Cardiac Surgery
Ophthalmology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years preferred.
