Responsibilities
In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center healthcare philosophy, the Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures at a technically proficient level. Positions and instructs the patient, operates ultrasound equipment and determines the technical factors for ultrasound procedures including complex Maternal Fetal procedures. Ensures correct marking/labeling of images, provide and confirm proper/adequate documentation of procedures to assist in diagnosis. Technically proficient in a variety of ultrasound procedures. Ability to train staff members to perform procedures requiring independent judgement. Position requires ingenuity and initiative for the diagnosis and therapy of disease.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience performing Ultrasound procedures.
- 2 years high-risk/level II OB Ultrasound including Fetal Echo.
- Experienced with US guided invasive fetal proceduresincluding amniocentesis and CVS
- Experience with AIUM certification process (preferred)
- CT CPRBLS
- RG ARDMS
