Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Monitor Tech, you will be responsible for continuous observation and analysis of patients' cardiac rhythms to detect and report changes.
Every day you will meticulously monitor EKG strips, identify arrhythmias, measure intervals, and promptly communicate critical findings to nursing staff and healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation.
To be successful, you will demonstrate sharp observational skills, a thorough understanding of cardiac rhythms, and the ability to act quickly and precisely under pressure, crucial for patient safety and timely intervention.

- Provides general support to the Charge Nurse/ Department Director.
- Provides assistance to staff, physicians and visitors.
- Greets patients, visitors, physicians, and others; provides directions as necessary.
- Maintains patient charts.
- Answers multiple phone lines and direct calls.
Job Requirements
Required
- One year as Unit Coordinator orNursing Assistant or
- One year equivalent(i.e. MA, EMT, etc.)
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
