Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Manager Imaging, you will oversee the operations of the Radiology-Diagnostic department at Dominican Hospital. You will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, and upholding CommonSpirit Health's high standards of professional conduct and ethical requirements.

Every day you will coordinate tasks, analyze data, and manage the department's workload to ensure business goals are met. Your role will involve maintaining effective communication and fostering camaraderie with co-workers, peers, and supervisors, while consistently protecting patient confidentiality and completing all mandatory training.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to follow complex instructions and proactively manage the imaging services function. You will also be expected to seek guidance when needed, remain accountable for your actions, and cooperate with investigations or reporting requirements to ensure full compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.

  • Manages the application of diagnostic imaging technology and regulatory standards.
  • Adopts, develops and applies policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manages personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training, and effective communication.
  • Manages the safety of diagnostic imaging service activities and creates a safe environment for patients, staff and the public.
Job Requirements

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional imaging-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of diagnostic imaging experience and two (2) years of experience managing/supervising in a related imaging field.
  • Medical Radiographer: CA (MRAD) upon hire required and
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) upon hire required or 
  • Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry (RTBD) upon hire required or
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomograpy (RTCT upon hire required or 
  • Registered Technologist Mammography (RTM) upon hire required or 
  • Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography upon hire required or 
  • Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging (RTMR) upon hire required or 
  • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTN) upon hire required or 
  • Registered Technologist Quality Management (RTQM)
  • Registered Radiation Therapy (RTT)
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Interventional Rad (RTVI) upon hire required or 
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RTVS) upon hire required or 
  • Registered Technologist Medical Sonographer (RDMS) upon hire required or
