Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Assists Emergency Department Nurses and Physicians in delivering high quality patient centered care and maintains supplies and equipment in the Emergency department. This position also functions as a unit coordinator providing clerical support.
Qualifications
Required:
- One year previous direct patient care in an emergency department ambulance fire or emergent pre-hospital setting required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current EMT-B or EMT-P license (effective January 1 2021 for all hires/transfers) required.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
Preferred:
- EKG experience preferred.
