Responsibilities

This position is responsible for driving/transporting residents to and from various locations. This position is expected to know and support the mission and values of Dominican Oaks, and to apply theDominican Oaks philosophy while performing daily job tasks.


Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Two years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of
    education and experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Current and valid CA Commercial Class B driver's license with Passenger Endorsement - required if driving a passenger transportation vehicle designed to carry more than 10
    passengers, including driver and First Aid Certification from AHA within 90 days.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively with residents and staff.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to demonstrate basic math skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate good judgment and problem solving skills.
