The posted compensation range of $27.77 - $40.27 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in the central sterilization area engaged in furnishing instrumentation and equipment used in patient care and treatment. Supervises staff conformance with policies and procedures related to the handling, sterilization, cleaning, maintenance, storage and assembly of instrumentation and equipment. Assists in management of central sterilization staff to include performance management, continual mprovement, training and education and communication of updates to policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Central Sterilization within a healthcare organization.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a leadership role within Central Sterilization.
Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification required.
