Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be a visionary leader, setting the standard for exceptional patient care and empowering our teams to achieve unparalleled clinical excellence.

- Demonstrates effective technical nursing skills as documented in unit skills checklists.
- Prepares for and directs patient care assignments based on acuity and competency of personnel.
- Ensures screening, evaluation, treatment of patients results in appropriate service delivery, positive clinical outcomes.
- Participates in hiring, training, coaching and termination of staff, as assigned by Director.
- Effectively supervises, orients, trains and evaluates staff ensuring effective staff performance and high standards of care.
- Identifies ongoing training needs of staff, plans annual in-services, classes and training.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors Of Science Nursing
- 3 years of critical care experience, and demonstrated leadership skills
- Experience in related unit, and demonstrated leadership skills
- Registered Nurse: CA RN
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
Preferred
- Mentorship experience
- Critical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute
