Responsibilities
Special Procedures Technician works under the Supervisor and/or his/her designee and in conjunction with other staff members initializing and providing diagnostic radiologic skills in accordance with established radiation safety standards. The technician provides quality care for patients. Assists the physician and interacts with personnel in other departments within the framework of the philosophy and policies established by Saint Bernardine Medical Center. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities. Requirements:Graduation from a school of Radiological Technology. Current California C.R.T. license Fluoroscopy permit BLS ARRT certificate preferred ACLS preferred.Two years of special procedure experience in cardiac catherization laboratory and/or radiology preferred

- BLS Basic Life Support
- ARRT certificate preferred
- ACLS preferred
