Responsibilities

Step into a leadership role where every shift makes a difference. As Nurse Shift Manager at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, you will coordinate and oversee nursing care on your assigned unit, guiding a dedicated team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

In this role, you will:

  • Supervise nursing staff during your shift, ensuring efficient patient assignments based on acuity and staff expertise
  • Assess care delivery, educate staff as needed, and initiate emergency procedures when necessary
  • Anticipate and respond to staffing needs proactively to maintain continuity of care
  • Ensure unit readiness by overseeing supply levels and documentation for seamless transitions between shifts

This position plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of care and supporting a positive team environment. If you are an experienced RN with a talent for team leadership, this opportunity offers a dynamic environment to lead, support, and elevate patient care.


Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN).
  • Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice
  • AHA-Basic Life Support (BLS), other credentials or credential modules may be required.
