The posted compensation range of $62.94 - $95.71 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence.
Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals.
To be successful in this role, you will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions. You'll skillfully navigate challenges, ensuring individual performance and overall unit success.
- Support and actualizes the Division of Nursing philosophy and goals by assuming leadership in program development and implementation.
- Staff is developed to assume leadership roles both formally and informally, via role modeling and facilitating staff participation in shared governance structure.
- Facilitates development and implementation to solution to problems.
- Develops and Implements effective communication channels to provide information to all staff members, holding at least one unit meeting per month with posting of minutes and notice.
- Directs and Participates in the orientation of new employees, evaluates programs effecting employees. 6.Has an identified council structure with an elected Staff Nurse Professional Practice Council
- representative. Conducts unit council meetings monthly incorporating new knowledge and skills to meet changing needs of patient families, department employees and institution.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience. Magnet Hospital: BSN required.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership experience.
Licensure:
Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS), other credentials or credential modules may be required.
