The posted compensation range of $24.00 - $28.35 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Groundskeeper, you will provide essential care and meticulous attention to our outdoor spaces, ensuring a well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and safe environment for all visitors.
Every day you will expertly perform landscaping duties, nurture plants and turf, maintain pathways and common areas, and meticulously manage irrigation systems, contributing to a welcoming and professional outdoor presentation.
To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding dedication to quality, strong physical endurance, and a proactive, detail-oriented demeanor, contributing to a positive first impression and serene surroundings.
- Maintains all equipment in proper working order, including lubrication, adjustment and cleaning. Reports and schedules necessary repairs.
- Regularly inspects flowers, shrubs and trees for evidence of insects, fungi and other pests.
- Use safety equipment including safety glasses, earmuffs, dust masks ( when appropriate).
- Sets time clocks for proper watering time, maintains sprinkler systems in good working order. Schedules fertilizing and spraying as necessary.
- Maintenance of hard and soft landscaping, bushland management.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate or GED
- One (1) year of experience in heavy gardening and grounds care
