Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team.
Every day you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient safety, and excellent communication. Your compassionate demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- Assists with opening clinic, and insuring readiness for daily activities.
- Reviews medical records of patients with scheduled appointments to insure that results of previous tests and procedures will be available for practitioner review.
- Insures patient examination rooms and laboratory areas are ready for daily activity.
- Performs and records quality checks on laboratory test equipment.
- Performs laboratory specimen collection tasks, including venipuncture. Prepares specimens for shipment to hospital laboratory.
- Performs laboratory testing that will be done in the clinic.
Required
- Licensed Vocational Nurse: CA, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire
