The posted compensation range of $50.11 - $58.09 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Radiology/CT Technologist performs quality diagnostic radiographic computed tomography (CT) scans. The incumbent processes the images, or utilizes CR/PACS system; documents service performed, and makes adjustments and minor repairs on equipment. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
- The incumbent uses independent judgment, operates and is accountable for sophisticated, expensive, computerized radiographic and computed tomography equipment
- Completes all procedures in a manner consistent with a safe and professional environment for all, primarily high-risk and critically ill patients of all ages
- The incumbent performs patient care duties associated with radiology, CT procedures when necessary and maintains procedural statistical documentation on all cases
- The incumbent ensures effective communication and documentation
- The incumbent provides support assistance and works with radiologists and other medical staff in an advisory capacity
- The incumbent may take call for emergency procedures
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate from AMA certified school ofradiologic technology
- Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, within 12 - months
- Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, upon hire
Preferred
- 2 years experience as a certifiedradiologic technologist.
