The posted compensation range of $20.13 - $30.65 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Coordinates medical staff and health professional management to include governance, credentialing, privileging and department business. Responsible for supporting regulatory readiness. Provides education and on-boarding to providers.


Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two years credentialing/medical staff related experience or degree in Medical Staff Services Management in lieu of experience.
  • Working knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, and Department of Health standards. Successful experience with previous accreditation surveys preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills: ability to develop and sustain trusting work relationships, ability to educate and motivate team members, ability to communicate effectively with various levels of professionals, ability to self-regulate and meet deadlines, ability to use critical thinking and strategic approaches in problem-solving, etc.
  • Proven abilities in arbitrating and negotiating issues between physicians and Medical Staff
    leaders/hospital departments.
  • Demonstrated computer and database management skills, with previous experience utilizing
  • CPMSM or CPCS certification, preferred

Physical Requirements - Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
