Job Summary and Responsibilities
The incumbent will perform arterial punctures, continuous ventilation, airway maintenance, emergency care, infection control, isolation procedures, maintenance and operation of mechanical ventilators, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, medical gas administration and demonstrate competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
As our Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will competently provide essential respiratory care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Your expertise is vital for critical respiratory interventions and patient well-being. Every day you will perform arterial punctures, continuous ventilation, airway maintenance, emergency care, infection control, isolation procedures, mechanical ventilator operation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and medical gas administration. To be successful, you will possess advanced clinical skills in all aspects of respiratory care across age groups, meticulous attention to detail, a strong commitment to patient safety and infection control, and the ability to perform effectively in emergencies.
Job Requirements
- Completion of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner: CA.
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
